Ken Fayal has worked in the software engineering and development field since 1988. Ken began their career in the US Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician. In 2001, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Communication Partners, Inc., where they led the software development team in creating a web-based benefits management system. In 2004, they founded and managed Raptor Development, Inc., a company dedicated to developing user-friendly business software and infrastructure. In 2007, they became the Senior System Architect at BenefitElect, Inc., where they oversaw the redesign, development, and management of core company systems, integrated new cloud-based technologies, and created the company's web-based employee benefits enrollment and administration system. In 2020, they became a Software Architect at Businessolver, and in 2021 they became a Senior Software Engineer at IoTecha Corp.

Ken Fayal has a varied educational history. Ken attended Vacaville Union High School from 1983 to 1985. Ken then joined the US Navy in 1987 and completed Advanced Avionics and Basic Electronics training. In 1993, they obtained a Microsoft MCP certification from Microsoft. In 2016, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level certification from Amazon Web Services. Lastly, in October 2022, they obtained an AWS Certificed Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
