Jordi XING

Product Development Manager - Asia Pacific at IOT Lenses

Jordi XING has a diverse work experience in various industries. Jordi started their career as an Engineering Intern at Spanair in 2011. Jordi then worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Associate at the Illinois Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2015, where they focused on studying atmospheric effects on science data from NASA's CYGNSS satellites.

From 2014 to 2015, Jordi worked as a Patent Engineer at Cardinal Intellectual Property, conducting patentability analyses and reporting licensing opportunities. Jordi then joined GMV as an Aerospace Engineer from 2016 to 2017, where they facilitated commercial expansion into the Chinese market.

Jordi's next role was as a Customer & Data Services Engineer at ESSP SAS from 2018 to 2018, supporting user performance monitoring and alerting services. Jordi also served as a Service Adoption Engineer, accelerating the promotion and adoption of European GNSS services and assessing market penetration in various market segments.

Currently, Jordi is working as a Product Development Manager for the Asia Pacific region at Indizen Optical Technologies, S.L.U. since 2020.

Jordi XING's education history began in 2007 when they enrolled in the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Jordi pursued an Engineer's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering as part of the university's Dual Degree Program with the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). During their time at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Jordi studied aeronautical engineering until 2012.

In 2011, Jordi participated in the Erasmus Program and attended Linköping University, where they focused on mechanical and aeronautical engineering.

Following their education in Spain and Sweden, Jordi XING pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Jordi studied at the institution from 2012 to 2013 to further develop their skills in the field.

Overall, Jordi XING's educational journey involved obtaining an Engineer's Degree from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, attending Linköping University through the Erasmus Program, and ultimately earning a Master's Degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
