Jonathan Mizrahi has a diverse work experience in the field of physics, starting with their role as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland from 2007 to 2013. Jonathan then worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Sandia National Laboratories from 2013 to 2015. Following that, they served as a Research Scientist at the University of Maryland from 2015 to 2016. Since 2016, Jonathan has been working at IonQ, where they initially held the position of Senior Physicist until 2018. From 2018 until the present, they have been the Director of Hardware. Recently, they were promoted to the role of Senior Manager, Systems in July 2022.

Jonathan Mizrahi attended Brandeis University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Math and Physics. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Maryland from 2007 to 2013, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of Atomic/Molecular Physics.
