Trent Misipeka began their professional career in 2013 as a Junior Credit Analyst at ANZ in Germany. After their student internship, they moved to Westpac in 2014 where they held the role of Customer Service Representative and Personal Banker. In 2016, they joined Suncorp Group as a Lending Assessor, Credit Coach, Team Leader - Lending (Operational Reporting and Workflow), and Senior Project Advisor - Home Lending. In 2022, they joined IONITY as a Financial Analyst.

Trent Misipeka completed a Bachelor of Business (BBus) in International Business from the University of the Sunshine Coast between 2011 and 2014. In 2013, they also completed a Bachelor's Degree in International Finance, German Banking, and Monetary Economics from the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.
