Nishant Tyagi is a Senior Manager in Business Development at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., since June 2020, where key responsibilities include leading deals with Royalty Pharma, Chinook, Scipher, and Metagenomi in 2022 and 2023. Prior to this role, Nishant worked in investment banking focused on mergers and acquisitions in the oil and gas sector at Exit Partners from August 2019 to May 2020. Nishant's research experience includes neuroregeneration studies at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Houston Methodist in 2018, and nanotechnology research at the University of North Texas from 2016 to 2018. Nishant holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from The University of Texas at Dallas, as well as a TAMS degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of North Texas.
