Arijit Dutta, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Scientist at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., starting in July 2023. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UT Health San Antonio, where research focused on the role of RNA in DNA damage repair pathways, and a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University School of Medicine. Arijit Dutta also held editorial positions as Guest Associate Editor and Review Editor for various publications within Frontiers in Molecular Biosciences and reviewed manuscripts for MDPI journals. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The University of Texas Medical Branch and a Postdoctoral Associate degree from Yale School of Medicine, along with advanced degrees from the University of Calcutta and The University of Burdwan. Research expertise encompasses genomic stability, DNA repair mechanisms, and the interactions of RNA within these processes.
