Luca Mezossy-Dona began their work experience in 2013 as a volunteer at the Hungarian National Gallery. They then worked as a Research Assistant at the University of St Andrews from 2015 to 2017, where they gained skills in project management, experimental design, and data analysis. At the same university, Luca worked as an Online Developer for the Professional Skills Curriculum, creating marketing materials and collaborating with professional employers. In 2017, Luca joined The Faraday Grid as a Marketing and Events Coordinator. In this role, they organized events and managed communication efforts. They later transitioned to the position of Science Communications at The Faraday Grid in 2018, where they specialized in conveying engineering concepts to non-technical audiences. Finally, in 2019, Luca became a Co-Founder and Head of Strategic Engagement at IONATE, where they currently work.

Luca Mezossy-Dona completed their undergraduate studies at the University of St Andrews from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a degree in Psychology with a focus on Social Sciences. They went on to pursue further education at the University of Oxford from 2020 to 2021, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Clinical Neuroscience.
