Melissa Susser, LICSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience in psychotherapy and social services. Currently, Melissa serves as the Owner and Psychotherapist at Talk Therapy Potomac LLC since October 2023. Prior to this, Melissa has held multiple roles at Iona Senior Services, including Psychotherapist, Support Group Facilitator, Caregiver Education & Outreach Coordinator, and Clinical Social Worker since April 2017. Melissa's previous experience includes positions as Care Services Manager and Geriatric Care Coordinator at Capitol Hill Village from January 2015 to April 2017, Social Worker at Heartland Alliance for Human Needs & Human Rights from July 2013 to November 2014, and Case Worker at EZRA Multi-Service Center from June 2012 to September 2013. Melissa holds a degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from the University of Chicago and a degree from Franklin & Marshall College.
