Ahmed Benhalim has a total of two work experiences listed in chronological order. Ahmed started their career at ISM Canada in 2012 as an IT Service Desk employee for a period of four months. In 2015, they joined ION Telecom and Technology as a Core Network Engineer until February 2017. From February 2017 onwards, they held the position of Head of Core Network Department at ION Telecom and Technology.

Ahmed Benhalim has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Benghazi, which they obtained from 2003 to 2008. In 2010, they completed several certifications, including CompTIA A, CompTIA Network, and CompTIA Security. Ahmed also obtained a Certificate in Network and System Administration/Administrator from the British Columbia Institute of Technology during the year 2010-2011. In 2011, Ahmed obtained the LPIC-1: Linux Server Professional Certification from the Linux Professional Institute. In 2015, they completed the "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python (Part 1)" course and received a certification from Coursera Verified Certificates. Additionally, in 2018, Ahmed obtained a "Certificate of Completion - HUAWEI HCNA R & S" from Stage 2 Learning Solutions. Most recently, in 2023, they completed the "Securing Internet Routing with IRR and RPKI course" offered by AFRINIC-The Regional Internet Registry for Africa.
