Aran Abengochea Molar has four years of work experience. Aran began their career in 2013 as a Bachelor Thesis Student at Universitat Rovira i Virgili. In 2015, they became a Junior Researcher Trainee and a Senior Researcher Trainee at KU Leuven. In 2017, they took on the role of Research Associate at iOmx Therapeutics AG.

Aran Abengochea Molar's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Universitat Rovira i Virgili between 2010 and 2014. Aran then completed an Exchange Year at the University of Oslo (UiO) in Molecular Biology from 2012 to 2013. In 2014, they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biomedical Sciences, General from the University of Hasselt - University of Maastricht.
