Dr. Sushil Kumar Sharma has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in regulatory affairs. Dr Sushil Kumar currently holds the position of Vice President RA/QA at IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd since June 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Vice President and Head of Global Regulatory Affairs at Raks Pharma, a subsidiary of AMNEAL Pharmaceuticals, from July 2015 to June 2020.

Dr. Sharma has also worked as an Associate Director at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories from May 2014 to July 2015, and as the Chief Manager of Regulatory Affairs at Teva Pharmaceuticals from October 2011 to May 2014.

Before joining Teva Pharmaceuticals, they held the position of Manager of Regulatory Affairs at Centaur Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. from September 2007 to October 2011. Dr Sushil Kumar successfully headed the department and was instrumental in project management and formulating regulatory strategies.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Sharma worked as a Research Scientist in Regulatory Affairs at Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd from September 2006 to August 2007, and as a Regulatory Affairs professional at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd from 2005 to 2006. In these roles, they were responsible for dossier filings, supporting Para IV ANDA filings, and coordinating with regulatory authorities.

Dr. Sharma began their career in regulatory affairs at Zydus in 2004, where they were involved in preparing and filing drug master files.

Dr Sushil Kumar Sharma obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from B.S.A. College (Agra university) from 2004 to 2012.
