Outi Vilhelmiina Kontkanen, Ph.D., currently serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher at IOCB Prague, focusing on the parametrization of semiempirical quantum mechanical methods for non-covalent interactions and the development of related algorithms and software tools. Previous experience includes a role at the University of South Bohemia investigating electron transfer on electrified heterogeneous interfaces with redox metalloproteins, alongside Ph.D. studies at UMONS and Tampere University of Technology in Materials Science and Semiconductor Physics.
