Nicolò Boatto's work experience begins in 2018 as a Software and Hardware Engineer at ULTRA IoT, where they worked until 2019. Nicolò then joined Aon as a Cyber Associate from 2019 to 2020, and subsequently as a Security Tester from 2020 to 2021. In 2021, Boatto joined NCC Group as a Senior Security Consultant until 2022. Currently, they hold the role of Senior Security Consultant at IOActive, Inc. starting in 2022.

Nicolò Boatto's education history begins in 2013 when they enrolled at Politecnico di Milano. Nicolò studied there for four years and graduated in 2017 with a Laurea in Ingegneria Informatica, specializing in Engineering of Computing Systems.

In 2018, Nicolò Boatto pursued further studies at Royal Holloway, University of London, where they completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Security. Nicolò attended this institution for one year and finished their program in 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Nicolò Boatto has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and expertise. In March 2021, they became an Attify Certified IoT Pentester through Attify Inc. In September 2019, they obtained the Managing Cyber Security Risk (CCRMP) certification from IT Governance Ltd. Nicolò also holds the CREST Registered Tester (CRT) certification, which they earned in July 2021 through CREST. In June 2020, they became a GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) through GIAC Certifications. Lastly, they obtained the CREST Practitioner Security Analyst certification in February 2020 from CREST - www.crest-approved.org.
