Roger Magar has extensive work experience as a test engineer, specializing in embedded testing. Roger has worked at various companies throughout their career, including 3M Scott Safely, Jabil, InVue Security Products, Itron, Philips Lighting, Bose Corporation, Eastman Kodak, and the US Navy. Starting in 1985, they began their career as an Electronics Technician in the US Navy before transitioning to test engineering roles in the private sector. Roger has held senior test engineer positions at Itron and 3M Scott Safely. Their experience spans over three decades, with their most recent position at 3M Scott Safely starting in 2018.

Roger Magar attended Bryant & Stratton College from 1992 to 1994, where they pursued a degree in Electronics. Roger then went on to Southern Wesleyan University from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), focusing on the field of study of Business.
