Marco Zahedi

Chief Medical Officer at Invitrx Therapeutics

A native of Southern California, Dr. Zahedi – or “Dr.Z.”; as he is commonly called – graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, where he received his Bachelors in Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry and Medical Physiology. Post-Baccalaureate, he worked as a research assistant at Genentech developing anti-cancer compounds, and later in nanoparticle research at the Sandia National Laboratory. He attended the Chicago Medical School where he completed his Medical Degree (M.D.) training with Alpha Omega Alpha honors designation.

Dr Zahedi went on to complete his residency training at University of Southern California (USC) Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA with a focus in Dermatology. Post-residency, Dr.Z completed his Masters in Public Health (MPH) from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine.

Throughout his career, Dr. Zahedi has passionately pursued efforts to reduce the effects of pain and aging on his patients through early adoption of new technologies. He was one of the early adopters of cell based therapy for both anti-aging and anti-inflammatory indications, conducting research on preventing wrinkles and hair loss, scar reduction, enhanced post-traumatic musculoskeletal recovery, and reducing the burden of autoimmune conditions such as Psoriasis and Eczema. Dr. Zahedi is medical director for the Ageless Life Institute and My IV Therapy, with locations in Orange and Los Angeles County. He serves on the physician advisory board for Fruistreet Teleheath. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. He has published numerous case studies, research projects and residency education improvement projects in local and national peer reviews scientific journals. Dr. Z is the recipient of the William Hearst Trustee Award for Outstanding Achievement, a Genentech Scholar and a National Institutes of Health Undergraduate Scholar finalist.
