Mike Chittick began their work experience in 1996 as an Earth & Space Sciences Data Analyst at the University of Washington. In 2000, they worked as a Web Designer at Adhost Internet until 2001. From 2002 to 2008, they worked at Bear Creek Fine Foods as an ERP Admin / SQL BI Analyst. In 2008, they joined Inviso Corp. as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst until 2012. Mike then became an Agile Product Owner, leading the development of large-scale Windows 8 applications until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Business Analytics Manager at Inviso Corp. Currently, they are working as a Business Analytics Lead / Account Manager at Inviso Corp, where they empower businesses to leverage their O365 licenses and transition their reporting platforms to Power BI.

Mike Chittick's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Math, and Computer Science from the University of Washington, which they obtained between 1995 and 1999. In 2002, they attended ITT Technical Institute and earned a degree in Network Administration, specializing in Network Design, Database Architecture, Cisco Routers, and Windows/Linux Server Administration. In 2014, they obtained certification as a Certified SAFe Agilist from the Scaled Agile Academy. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including MB-200 Microsoft Power Platform + Dynamics 365 Core in 2020, Exam 778: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI in 2018, Exam 761: Querying Data with Transact-SQL in 2017, and Microsoft Technology Associate - Database in 2013. Mike also holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in 2012.
