Dimitris Giakoumis is a distinguished expert in service robotics with an extensive career spanning from February 2007 to the present at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI), where Dimitris currently holds the position of Principal Researcher in Service Robotics, previously serving as Senior Researcher. In addition, Dimitris co-founded and serves as CEO of OZZIE robotics since August 2020, contributing valuable insights in the field. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Affective Computing, a Master's Degree in Advanced Computing and Networking Systems, and an Engineer’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, all from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
