Ilya Kravchenko has over 15 years of experience in engineering and operations. In 2019, they began working as the VP of Engineering at inVia Robotics, where they worked side-by-side with customers and leaders of Operation and Product teams to identify and deliver improvements to the product. Ilya also lead a cross-functional engineering team executing the roadmap to develop a market leading SaaS and RaaS solution. From 2013 to 2019, Ilya worked at EdgeCast Networks | Verizon Digital Media as the Sr. Director of Autonomous Infrastructure, where they led the effort to architect, develop, and evangelize adoption of a fully automated system. Additionally, they served as the Director of Systems Engineering & Operations, where they evangelized training and adoption of agile methodologies for Engineering and Operations teams. From 2011 to 2013, Ilya worked at Myspace | Specific Media | Vindico as the Sr. Director of Linux Engineering & Operations, where they planned and implemented the post-acquisition merger of Specific Media and Myspace Linux teams. From 2006 to 2011, they worked at Myspace | Fox Interactive Media, where they led five teams of Linux and Windows systems engineers, administrators, and project managers. Ilya also held the role of Manager of Linux Engineering & Operations, where they improved the performance and stability of the systems and applications. Ilya's first role was as a System Administrator at The Walt Disney Company | MovieBeam Inc., where they administered four geographically distributed server farms and POPs.
Ilya Kravchenko obtained a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from Mt. Sierra College between 1998 and 2001. In 2016, they received a Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance. In 2017, they earned an AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification from Amazon Web Services.
