Rich Rozmarniewicz has worked in the medical imaging field since 1987. Rich began their career at Microtek, Inc. as Technical Support Manager, providing customer service and technical support for a line of computer products, providing technical training for sales, performing product evaluations for a new computer systems division and developing diagnostics and installation manuals. In 1989, they became President at Eltekon Technologies Inc., designing a line of Rack-mounted SCSI based storage peripherals that interfaced with IBM, Macintosh and Audio sampling keyboards and Digital Audio workstations. Rich also wrote several thousand sound patches for Ensoniq ESQ1, Roland D550, Kurzweil K2000, Moog 55 and Yamaha DX7 and DX21. In 1995, they joined Instrumentation Laboratory, A Werfen Company as a Data Management Engineer, developing test plans, policies and processes for a custom Data Management software package that links GEMâ„¢ blood gas analyzers to Laboratory (LIS/HIS) and Hospital Information Systems. From 1998 to 2010, they worked at Siemens Medical as a Sustaining Engineer / Systems Analyst and Software Quality Engineer / Project Manager, providing product expertise to Engineering, Manufacturing and Service, determining deficiencies of new and previous products, defining serviceability requirements and managing the transfer of knowledge to the field, as well as providing hardware and software expertise in the design of a PCI card that was integrated into a turnkey package, maintaining documentation and training Manufacturing and Field Installers, and performing high level software testing for a turnkey integrated PACS solution that interfaces with Ultrasound, CT, and MRI modalities. From 2010 to present, Rich Rozmarniewicz has worked at INVIA Medical Imaging Solutions as a Systems Product Engineer, providing PACS Administration, security analysis and database management to Multiple PACS/CVIS systems, and at Terumo Cardiovascular Group as a Sr Engineer II -contractor, reviewing requirements and creating test protocols for a Data Management System that interfaces with perfusion devices.
Rich Rozmarniewicz began their educational journey in 1988 at the Recording Institute of Detroit, where they earned a Pro Audio Specialist degree in Recording and Production Techniques. Rich then continued their studies at Schoolcraft College, earning an ASET in Electronics Technology. In 1992, Rich began attending Siena Heights University, where they earned a BSET in Electronics Engineering Technology and Business Management in 1994. After graduating, Rich attended New Horizons in Livonia, Michigan, where they obtained certifications in ICND, CCNA Routing & Switching, CCDA, CCNA Security, and CCNA Wireless in 2002, and a Microsoft Certification - MCSE in 2003.
