David Brake is an accomplished professional in the veterinary biologics industry, serving as the Founder and Principal of BioQuest Associates, LLC since January 2004. As CEO of New England Animal Health since June 2016, David Brake focuses on enhancing food security globally. Additional roles include Scientific Consultant for DHS S&T PIADC and USDA CVB Regulatory Consultant for both Alopexx Enterprises, LLC and Invetx. David Brake has contributed to the Found Animals Foundation, Inc. as a Scientific Advisory Board Member and held a previous board position at Vaxin Inc. prior to 2015. David Brake's career began with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals as a Veterinary Biologics R&D Manager and includes significant research roles at SmithKline Beecham Animal Health, progressing from Research Scientist in Molecular Genetics to Senior Research Scientist in Immunology. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from Drexel University College of Medicine and a post-doctoral fellowship in Molecular Genetics of HIV-1.
