Phillip Thuthuka Dube started their work experience in 2006 as an Equity and Equity Derivatives Stockbroker at a private firm. Phillip Thuthuka then joined Investec in 2010, where they held the roles of Equity Derivatives Trader and later became the Head of Equity Finance in October 2016. In 2020, Dube became the Executive Director of Investec Markets Limited.

Philip Thuthuka Dube has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand. Phillip Thuthuka also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from GIBS Business School. Additionally, they have completed an executive education program, the Program for Leadership Development, at Harvard Business School. Phillip Thuthuka is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree at GIBS Business School. Furthermore, they are enrolled in the AFLI Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
