Amanda Tarr is a seasoned professional in business growth and venture services, currently serving as Senior Manager, Business Growth at Invest Nova Scotia since December 2022. Previously, Amanda held various roles at Innovacorp over a decade, including Manager of Venture Services, where responsibilities included leading pre-investment and portfolio services and developing acceleration strategies for high-potential researchers and startups. In addition, Amanda served as Program Manager for Clean Technology, where successful accelerator and smart energy programs were developed, along with securing critical funding. Amanda’s experience also includes leading stakeholder relations for the Innovacorp Demonstration Centre to enhance business development and community engagement. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Mary's University and a Master of Business Administration from Cape Breton University.
