Sathyanathan Tharayil serves as the Group Head of Information Technology at Invest Bank P.S.C. since August 2019, focusing on transforming the bank into a leading digital challenger in the GCC. Prior experience includes a tenure at QInvest LLC from June 2010 to December 2018, where Sathyanathan led the IT function, managed enterprise information management, and established IT governance frameworks. Roles at Emirates NBD and National Bank of Dubai involved program management for treasury systems and risk management projects. Beginning in January 1996 at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., responsibilities included overseeing banking application maintenance across multiple regions. Sathyanathan holds advanced degrees in IT & HR from XLRI Jamshedpur and strategic management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, backed by a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Mahatma Gandhi University.
