Maarten Wegdam is the CEO and co-founder of ReadID by Inverid, a software company established in January 2014, which focuses on digital identity solutions. Prior to this, Maarten co-founded InnoValor in December 2013, providing research-based advice and software for digital innovations. Maarten served as a strategic advisor at InnoValor Advies from January 2020 to January 2022, concentrating on digital identity and personal data sharing projects. Previous roles include managing advisor and operations manager at Novay, where Maarten led research and operational efforts in human-centric services, and assistant professor at the University of Twente. Early career experiences include senior member of technical staff at Bell Labs, applied researcher at KPN Research, and an internship at Philips Research. Maarten holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Twente and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Groningen.
