Scott Nelson is an accomplished real estate professional with extensive experience in retail property development and portfolio management. Currently serving as a Board Member for InvenTrust Properties Corp. since November 2016, Nelson previously held the role of Principal at SAN Prop Advisors, LLC, specializing in retail real estate advisory services. A significant portion of Nelson's career was spent at Target Corporation, where responsibilities included leading real estate initiatives for over 1,800 retail stores and various distribution centers. Prior to Target, Nelson was Director of Real Estate at Mervyn’s, managing a vast property portfolio, and started as a Senior Research Analyst with Dayton Hudson Corporation. Nelson holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota.
