Shashank Sane serves as the Executive Vice President of Transmission at Invenergy LLC, leading the development of long-distance, high-voltage transmission lines designed to facilitate the integration of renewable energy into the electric grid. With comprehensive responsibilities that include business strategy, project development, and commercial execution, Sane also holds leadership positions in multiple initiatives such as the Grain Belt Express and Clean Path New York, and is a board member at Americans for a Clean Energy Grid. Previously, Sane held various senior roles within Invenergy, including Senior Vice President for Invenergy Edge and Corporate Development, and Vice President of Corporate Finance and M&A. Prior experience includes consulting roles at Oliver Wyman and investment banking positions at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers. Sane holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. in Finance and International Business from NYU Stern School of Business.
