Freerk Bisschop is a venture partner at Inven Capital and a experienced entrepreneur and investor in the energy and climate sector. Freerk has a long history of working in the energy sector, starting with their founding of Echte Energie in 2000. Since then, they have held various leadership positions at companies such as Econcern, Climate Innovations, Planet B Ventures, and the Amsterdam Climate & Energy Fund. In their current role at Inven Capital, Freerk is responsible for investments in early stage companies in the energy and climate sector.

Freerk Bisschop holds a PhD in Solar Semiconductor Physics from Utrecht University. Freerk also holds an Atheneum B from Willem van Oranjecollege.
