Clara Gachoki has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Clara started their career as a News Reporter at Royal Media Services Limited in 2011. After that, they worked as a Public Relations Intern, Administrative Assistant, and Executive Assistant-communications at the Youth Enterprise Development Fund from 2014 to 2017. Clara then joined Vunja Kalabash Campus Project as a Program Director in 2018. In the same year, they founded Conversations in the dark, an Interactive Group Therapy Intervention for survivors of Sexual, Gender Based Violence. Clara also worked as a Research Consultant at Inuka from 2018 to 2019, where they collected data on a mental wellbeing project. Clara currently holds the role of Chief Client Relations & Partnerships at Inuka since 2019, where they have headed the client relations and customer service docket, resulting in a significant increase in clients and reaching thousands of low income and corporate users. Clara is also concurrently working as a Project Manager at Elim Trust since 2022, leading a research project on climate change and its impact on adolescents in different communities. Throughout their career, Clara has demonstrated strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Clara Gachoki completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology from 2009 to 2012. Clara further pursued their education at Daystar University, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Corporate Communications from 2016 to 2018.
