Qi Shao is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and systems engineering within the biomedical and medical device sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at Intuitive, since January 2022, Qi Shao previously held the role of Program Manager in Research & Development at ZOLL Medical Corporation, where contributions included leading the development of resuscitation products and establishing a subsidiary R&D office. Additional experience includes a tenure as a Senior Systems Engineer at Medtronic, focusing on image-guided surgical navigation systems, and roles at Neurostream Technologies Inc. and academic research positions at the University of Delaware and Tsinghua University. Qi Shao holds a PhD in Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware and advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
