Shankar Chittoor has extensive work experience in various architectural and engineering roles. Shankar started their career at Intergraph in 1994 as a Senior Software Engineer and continued in a similar role at Intergraph India until 1997. After that, they worked at Synopsys as a Senior Software Developer in 1997, and then joined Sun Microsystems in 1999 as a Consultant, where they played a key role in team transitions and worked with clients such as Providian Financials and Carclub. In 2001, Shankar worked as a Consultant at Aspect Communications before joining Metavante in 2002 as a Technical Team Lead. In 2005, they became a Senior Engineering Manager at Billeo, where they worked until 2012. From 2012 onwards, Shankar has been associated with Intuit, starting as an Architect for the Small Business Platform and then serving as the Chief Architect for the Payroll Segment. Currently, they hold the position of Distinguished Architect and Director for Small Business Group at Intuit.
Shankar Chittoor attended St Johns Church High School from 1983 to 1988, completing their high school education. From 1990 to 1994, they pursued a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
