Olivier Pauly has extensive experience in the software engineering and research fields. Olivier is currently working at Intrinsic as a Staff Software Engineer, a role they began in February 2023. Prior to this, Olivier worked at X, the moonshot factory from November 2019 to July 2021, where they held the position of Senior Software Engineer. Before that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Google from September 2018 to May 2019. Olivier also has experience at Siemens Healthineers as a Senior Key Expert Machine Learning/AI from April 2018 to August 2018, and as a Research Scientist from May 2015 to March 2018. Olivier began their career as a Research Scientist at Siemens from September 2014 to April 2015. Olivier has worked as an Application Developer at Definiens, The Tissue Phenomics Company from May 2013 to August 2014, and as a Post Doc Researcher at Helmholtz Zentrum München from September 2012 to April 2013. Olivier gained research experience as a Research Intern at Microsoft in August 2011 and as a Research Intern at Siemens from January 2007 to July 2007.

Olivier Pauly completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

- From 2002 to 2004, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at CentraleSupélec.

- In the period spanning from 2004 to 2006, they attended the Technical University of Munich, where they obtained a Master's degree in Maschinenbau.

- Finally, they pursued a Ph.D. in Computer Science from 2008 to 2012 at the Technical University of Munich, which awarded him the degree of "Dr. rer. nat."
