Dharini Dutia has extensive work experience in the robotics field. Dharini is currently working as a Software Engineer at Intrinsic, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were involved with Women in Robotics, where they served as Chair for New Chapter Formation and also organized events for Women in Robotics Boston. Dharini worked at Open Robotics as a Software Engineer from 2022 to 2023. Dharini also worked as a Robotics Software Engineer at Vecna Robotics from 2019 to 2020. Dharini gained research experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Novel Engineering for Swarm Technologies Lab from 2018 to 2019 and as a Research Student at the Human-Inspired Robotics Lab from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, Dharini had internships at OSRAM in 2019 and Drona Aviation Pvt. Ltd. in 2016. Lastly, they served as a Graduate Tutor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they graded assignments for robotics and computer science courses.

Dharini Dutia completed their education chronologically as follows:

From 2007 to 2010, they attended Lalji Mehrotra Lions School and obtained an Indian Certificate of Secondary Education.

From 2010 to 2012, they studied at St. Kabir School and received a degree from the Central Board of Secondary Education.

Between 2012 and 2016, they attended SIES Graduate School Of Technology and obtained an Engineer's Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications.

From 2017 to 2019, Dharini pursued their Master of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

In addition to their formal education, Dharini Dutia also earned various certifications. In 2013, they obtained the Surface Computing (Touch 1.0) certification from i3indya Technologies. In 2014, they completed the Android application development certification from Pristine InfoSolutions. In 2015, they earned the Internet of Things certification from Microsoft. Lastly, in 2016, they obtained the Satellite Communication Training Program certification from the Institute of Satellite Communication in Pune.
