Bill Trost is a seasoned game design professional with extensive experience in the gaming industry, currently serving as Director of Design and Lead Game Designer at Intrepid Studios, Inc. since June 2023. Prior to this role, Bill was Creative Director at Amazon Games from December 2016 to June 2023, and held the position of Creative Director at Pixelmage Games LLC, where Bill was involved in the development of Hero's Song. Bill co-founded The Blimp Pilots in 2007, leading the design of successful applications such as Koi Pond and Distant Shore. Additional experience includes executive roles at Graphiti Mobile, senior game design at Sony Online Entertainment, and creative leadership at Trion Worlds, Inc., where Bill was instrumental in developing Defiance.
