Ricky Rhodes has extensive work experience in various fields. Ricky started their career in 1983 as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force Security Forces, where they were responsible for the security of national nuclear resources, aircraft, and facilities. After leaving the military in 1987, Ricky served as a Deputy Sheriff in the Josephine County Sheriff's Office, where they handled day-to-day law enforcement duties in rural areas and was a member of the department's defensive tactics training team.
In 2009, Ricky briefly served as the Interim Chief of Police at the Gervais Police Department, where they managed daily operations, conducted criminal investigations, developed the department's operations policy manual, and dealt with budgeting and presentations to the council and budget committee.
From 1991 to 2014, Ricky worked at the City of Tigard as a Police Lieutenant. In this role, they provided managerial oversight to all work units within the department, including patrol, investigations, and services. Ricky was also involved in the county's Domestic Violence working group, providing advanced officer training.
In 2014, Ricky joined InTime as an Implementation Specialist/Project Manager, where they managed new customer projects and implemented scheduling software solutions. Ricky then became an Account Executive at InTime in 2016, responsible for sales and account management in the Northeast US. Presently, Ricky holds the position of Team Lead/Account Executive at InTime.
Ricky is also the Principal Owner of RRhodes Consulting LLC since 2015, where they offer consulting services in their areas of expertise.
Ricky Rhodes has a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Studies in Management from Granite State College, which was obtained from 1983 to 1986. In 1989, they obtained a Basic Police Certification from the Oregon Police Academy Department of Public Safety Standards and Training in Monmouth, Oregon. In 2005, they completed a 15 hour Masters Certificate in Criminal Justice/Police Science from the University of Virginia, Graduate School of Continuing and Professional Studies. During the same year, they also attended the FBI National Academy for Police Leadership. Additionally, in 1983, Ricky Rhodes attended the United States Air Force Security Police Academy for Military Security and Law Enforcement training.
