Thomas Hoelscher has a diverse work experience in both the private and military sectors. Thomas started their career in the US Army as a Joint Node Network Operator/Maintainer, where they provided network support for the First Calvary Command group, ensuring excellent communication services with a 99% uptime during two tours in Iraq.

After leaving the military in July 2011, Thomas joined InterVision Systems as a Technical Support Engineer. In this role, they directly interacted with customers to resolve voice, network, and security issues. Thomas also monitored network assets and collaborated with vendors and carriers to meet SLAs.

Thomas then progressed to become a Tier 3 Technical Support Engineer - Security at InterVision, where they focused on troubleshooting and resolving security-related issues. Their responsibilities included configuring and implementing VPN solutions and ASA security solutions, as well as providing solutions for security access controls.

In 2017, Thomas transitioned to the role of Security Engineer - Professional Services - Security and compliance at InterVision. In this position, they played a key role in designing and implementing security solutions for clients. Thomas conducted vulnerability and security compliance audits and assessments, analyzed the security posture of clients, and assisted in developing security frameworks for them.

Thomas Hoelscher earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Technology with a concentration in Cyber Security from Southern New Hampshire University from 2012 to 2015. In 2008 to 2009, they studied Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications at Central Texas College. Thomas went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Information Security at Southern New Hampshire University from 2015 to 2016.

In addition to their academic achievements, Thomas Hoelscher obtained several certifications. Thomas received the ACE v6.1 certification from Palo Alto Networks in June 2017. Thomas also holds the CCNA Security certification from Cisco, which they obtained in January 2016, and the CCNA Route Switch certification, earned in February 2013.
