Matthew Rust, CMP has a diverse range of work experience. Matthew started their career at The Phoenician Resort, where they worked in various roles including Guest Services staff, Valet Captain, Housekeeping Manager, and Director of Six Sigma, Black Belt. After that, they worked at Trak-1 Technology as the Managing Partner and Regional Vice-President, overseeing sales and operations. Matthew then joined The Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor's Club as the Assistant Front Office Manager. Following that, they held multiple roles at InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA, including Director of National Event Operations, Associate Director of Operations - Functions, Operations Director for the Urbana Student Missions Conference, and currently, they are the Financial Planning and Analysis Director. Overall, Matthew has extensive experience in operations, finance, event management, and leadership roles.
Matthew Rust, CMP obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from Arizona State University from 1988 to 1993. Matthew also holds a certification as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) from the Events Industry Council, which they obtained in December 2011.
