Alison Currie is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation and entrepreneurship, currently serving as the Director of Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Co-Innovate Programme Director at InterTradeIreland since May 2018. In this role, Alison oversees the €22m Co-Innovate Programme, which enhances innovation capabilities among SMEs through cross-border research and development. Prior to this, Alison held positions at Enterprise Northern Ireland as Programme Manager for the Northern Ireland Business Start Up Programme and Business Development Manager, achieving notable successes in business growth and job creation. Alison also served as Business Development and Marketing Manager at Lanarkshire Enterprise Services, along with earlier roles in marketing and business development. Alison's educational background includes a BA Honours in Business Studies and French from the University of Stirling, a PG Diploma in Local Economic Development from the University of Glasgow, and an Erasmus Diploma from EM Strasbourg Business School.
