Tunji Ashiru started their career in 2000 as a Financial Analyst at MC - I WORDCOM, where they analyzed billing data and implemented resolutions for financial impact. Tunji then worked at Allied Holdings as a Senior Financial Analyst from 2002 to 2004, preparing high-level financial reports and analyzing business operations. From 2004 to 2007, Tunji worked at Wellpoint as part of the Finance & Business Analysis team, handling complex financial analyses and creating financial models. Tunji then joined WellCare as a Senior Manager from 2006 to 2009, managing financial and metric reporting and providing analysis for key business decisions. In 2009, Tunji became the Chief Operating Officer at UNIC INSURANCE PLC, overseeing various divisions and managing relationships with government agencies and international partners. Since 2012, they have been working at Interswitch Group, first as the Chief Operating Officer for Interswitch Smarthealth and later as the Executive Strategic Policy Engagement, where they focus on strategic sales, business development, and regulatory engagement in the Fintech and Electronic Payment space.

From 1994 to 1998, Tunji Ashiru attended Kennesaw State University - Michael J. Coles College of Business, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Finance.
