Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions within cross-functional teams at SMART Technologies since July 2010. Notably responsible for hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices, Chris also has experience as a Firmware Engineer, focusing on firmware and diagnostic tools. Previous roles include electronics design as a contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, teaching assistance at the University of Calgary, and electronics engineering at Grindcom, where Chris contributed to control systems in the forestry sector. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
