Vangelis Batris has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Vangelis started their career with Allianz Global Investors as a Private Banking Account Officer from September 2001 to September 2002. Vangelis then worked at Coca-Cola HBC in different roles such as Trade Marketing New Beverages Assistant, Trade Marketing Category Supervisor, Key Account Manager for Instant Consumption Channels, and Key Account Manager for Supermarkets from 2002 to 2010. Following that, they joined Nike and held positions including Sales Manager for Monobrand & Key Accounts in Greece & Cyprus, Business & Retail Planning Manager for Central & Eastern Europe, Category Sales Director for Central & Eastern Europe and the Middle East, Sales & Retail Director for Greece & Cyprus, and Senior Sales Director for East Europe, Middle East, and Africa from 2010 to 2019. Currently, they are working at INTERSPORT Athletics S.A. as the Deputy Managing Director since June 2019 and subsequently became the Regional Managing Director from January 2020 onwards.

Vangelis Batris obtained an M.B.A. degree from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd in the year 1999. Prior to that, they completed a degree in Electrical Engineering - Polytechnic School from the University of Patras in the years 1993 to 1998. In addition, they acquired a certification in Content Marketing: Social Media from LinkedIn in February 2019.
