Angela Vredenburg has a diverse and extensive work experience in the music industry. Angela started their career in 2001 as a Publicity Coordinator at Island Def Jam Music Group. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as an A&R Coordinator at the same company, where they coordinated travel, managed album recording budgets, and researched potential new talent. Angela then joined Interscope Records in 2008 as a Sales Manager, where they served as a liaison between marketing, sales, and retail accounts, and maintained budgets for all retail accounts. In 2012, they joined Universal Music Group as a Global Digital Account Manager, where they were the primary point of contact for global accounts and efficiently operationalized campaigns. Angela later became a Director of International Commercial Partnerships, where they liaised with Repertoire Owners and US accounts for International representation. In 2018, Angela returned to Interscope Records as a Senior Director of Revenue, overseeing artist project campaigns and driving effective marketing strategies. In their current role as Vice President of International Marketing at Interscope Records, Angela is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive international marketing strategies to drive artist growth and success in key global markets. Angela also monitors and analyzes the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations to optimize strategies and achieve business objectives.
Angela Vredenburg obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from UCLA. Angela also holds a Master's degree in Education from Claremont Graduate University, which they completed between 2003 and 2005.
