Rafael Colmenares serves as the EMEA - Business Acquisition & Integration Director at IPG since October 2007, overseeing financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration across the region. Prior roles at IPG include Director of Forensic Investigations and Director of Internal Audit for Latin America, where Rafael led audit functions and managed global investigations. Previously, at McCann Worldgroup from April 2000 to September 2007, Rafael held positions such as Regional Controller and Financial Director, ensuring the integrity of financial statements and coordinating financial operations across multiple Latin American countries. Rafael's earlier experience includes being a Corporate Internal Auditor at IPG and serving as a Controller at Banco Mercantil, alongside a role as Senior Supervisor Auditor at PwC. Rafael earned a degree in Accounting from Andres Bello Catholic University between 1983 and 1988.
