David D. has a diverse work experience in various industries. David started their career in 1990 at Qantas as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, where they worked until 2004. In 1998, they joined the Australian Army as a Commando, a role they held for 16 years until 2014. From 2005 to 2014, they also worked at Jet Turbine Services as a Technical Team Lead.

In 2005, David transitioned to the Australian Federal Government, where they held various roles in the Operations department. David started as an Operations Team Lead from 2005 to 2014.
