Darren Gosbee is a seasoned automotive executive with extensive experience in product development, engineering, and technology leadership. Currently serving as Vice President of Product Development R&D at Navistar Inc since December 2008, Darren specializes in areas such as agile methodologies, sustainable transportation, and advanced vehicle technology. Key responsibilities include overseeing vehicle design, electronic systems, and compliance with safety regulations, alongside strategic planning and business development initiatives. Prior roles include Director of Engineering and Director of EV & Hybrid Strategy at Navistar, contributing to significant projects like the DoE SuperTruck program and the launch of the eStar electric vehicle. Earlier career highlights include leading powertrain systems at Visteon Corporation and various engineering roles at Ford Motor Company. Darren holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from City, University of London, and an MSc in Advanced Automotive Engineering from Loughborough University.
