Sushila De Silva currently serves as a Senior Communications Specialist at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), focusing on sustainable water and land resource management in developing countries. Previous experience includes roles as a Business Development Representative at Origen, Partner at Praesidium Technologies, and Media & Communication Manager at Save the Children International, where Sushila enhanced the organization's profile on child wellbeing in Sri Lanka. Sushila also held significant positions as Communications Manager for the YouLead Project with USAID, People Operations Lead and Country Lead at Esanjo, and Country Lead at JadoPado, contributing to the growth of these organizations. Early career highlights include a six-year tenure as Director of Administration at AC&RF Engineering and as Information Officer at the World University Service of Canada, where Sushila developed impactful communication strategies. Sushila holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems & Management from the University of London and further education from the University of Peradeniya.
