Tiwonge Chimpandule has significant experience in the field of health data management and monitoring and evaluation. They have worked with organizations such as the International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH), EnCompass LLC, and URC. In their role at I-TECH, Tiwonge served as the Lead Strategic Information Officer and National HIV & AIDS Programme Monitoring and Evaluation Officer while seconded to the Malawi Ministry of Health. They were responsible for developing and customizing M&E tools, supporting grant applications, leading the development of monitoring and evaluation tools, and participating in HIV program planning. At EnCompass LLC, Tiwonge worked as a VOLUNTARY MEDICAL MALE CIRCUMCISION (VMMC) CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT (CQI) DATA OFFICER, where they led the development of project frameworks, data collection tools, and conducted surveys and evaluations to improve the quality of health services. Lastly, at URC, they served as a Data Officer, assisting quality improvement teams and health facilities in data collection and analysis to make informed decisions and improve service quality.
Tiwonge Chimpandule completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College, from 2011 to 2014. Later, from 2017 to 2020, Tiwonge pursued a Master of Science degree in Biostatistics at the University of Malawi.
