Doug Bania is a Principal at Nevium Intellectual Property Consultants, where expertise in intellectual property valuations and expert testimony is applied to optimize the financial impact of trademarks, copyrights, patents, and intangible assets since November 2012. Bania actively contributes to the International Trademark Association (INTA) as a member of the Right of Publicity Committee and the Internet Committee, focusing on intellectual property rights and trademark identification in the digital space. Previously, Bania served on the Compliance and Domain Name Industry Subcommittee at ICANN from January 2016 to December 2019, promoting internet security and policy development. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Television, Film and Digital Communication from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from San Francisco State University.
