Pam Akgun is a Newport-based artist and illustrator with a diverse professional background. Currently a graduate of the ITMI - International Tour Management Institute since May 2019, Pam has been a freelance artist and illustrator since 2011, known for creating mixed media art that features oceanic themes. Notably, Pam founded and served as CEO of The Sea Star Collection from April 2012 to December 2015, a boutique offering seaside-themed products. Previous experiences include roles as a sales representative at The Winters Group, a real estate agent at Libby Kirwin Real Estate, and various positions at United States Beverage and Financial Wings. Pam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing, Advertising and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing/Marketing Management from the University of Rhode Island.
