Penny Cornish is an experienced HR professional with extensive expertise in delivering comprehensive HR support across diverse international organizations. Currently serving as Head of HR Delivery and Operations for Europe at the International Rescue Committee since August 2022, Penny previously held the position of Head of Operations, People & Culture at Plan International. Penny's HR career includes significant roles at the International Rescue Committee, where responsibilities spanned from HR Manager to HR Adviser, providing critical support throughout the employee lifecycle and partnering with managers globally. Earlier experience includes serving as International HR Adviser and HR Project Officer at the British Red Cross, where Penny managed HR functions such as recruitment and employee relations, along with leading key projects. Educational qualifications include an MA in Human Resource and Employment Management from London Metropolitan University and a BA in Human Geography from the University of Leicester.
