Diana Santana currently serves as the Communications Director for the USA at the International Rescue Committee since August 2023. Prior to this role, Diana was the Head of Communications and Spokesperson for the International Committee of the Red Cross in New York from July 2017 to January 2023, where notable achievements included launching the communications office and developing media strategies. Diana's extensive experience also includes tenure as Media and Digital Advisor at Independent Diplomat, Deputy Spokesperson and Digital Lead at the UK Mission to the United Nations, and Diplomatic Liaison at the Mayor's Office in New York City. Diana's background in communication extends to managing operations at ING DIRECT and contributing to digital projects at the United Nations Development Programme. Diana holds an MA in Politics with a focus on International Relations from New York University, along with a BA in Economics and Latin American Studies from Tulane University.
